*2025-2026 Teams*

We are looking for positive, kind dancers who want to grow their passion for dance as a TEAM!

Competitive Company
  • Auditions for our 2025-2026 Competitive Company will be held on Friday, July 18th! The Info Packet, Calendar, & Audition Form will be available here at the end of May.
  • Here's some general info:
    • We have 4 companies:
      • Mini Company - For dancers entering 3rd-5th grades
      • Junior Company - For dancers entering 5th-7th grades
      • Teen Company - For dancers entering 7th-10th grades
      • Senior Company - For dancers entering 9th-12th grades
      • If you're entering 5th, 7th, 9th, or 10th grade, ask us which company is more appropriate for you to audition for!
    • Competitive Company dancers are at IDC ~3 evenings per week as well as a couple weekends each month. Their required classes are ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical/contemporary, & conditioning & technique (~3.5-4.25 hours/week) in addition to their rehearsals (~1.75-3.25 hours/week).
    • Competitive Company dancers are in 3-6 group routines and can also do solo/duo/trios.
    • In the spring, we do a showcase, 3 competitions, and dancers can choose to do 1 or 2 conventions. We do nationals every 3 years - the 2025-2026 season is not a nationals year.
    • We have several fundraising opportunities and team bonding activities throughout the year.
Shooting Stars
  • Invitations for our 2025-2026 Shooting Stars will be sent at the end of May.
  • Here's some general info:
    • This is an invite-only program for young dancers (2nd-3rd graders) who want to expand their dance education and are excited to have more opportunities to perform.
    • Shooting Stars dancers are at IDC 2 evenings per week. Their required classes are ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical, conditioning, tumbling, & rehearsal (4 hours/week).
    • Shooting Stars dancers learn 2 routines during their weekly rehearsal class (1 jazz & 1 lyrical) and participate in 3-4 performances throughout the year in addition to the recital, one of which is a dance competition.

Performing on a team allows dancers to work closely with our faculty, create friendships and memories that last, build self-esteem and confidence, and reach their fullest potential!

Let us know if you have any questions or would like some guidance in determining which team is best for your child.
