Zarita Apple
Twinkling Stars, Tap, & Hip Hop Instructor
I was born and raised in San Diego, California where I discovered I had a strong love for dance. I started dancing around the age of four and started competing at age 7. I am extensively trained in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, and a few others, however, my passion is tap. Senior year I was the Captain of my High School Dance Team and placed 1st Overall for my tap solo at Revolution Nationals in Anaheim, California. I now attend Colorado State University and have recently been working as a Stage Manager for Thunderstruck Dance Competitions. I started assisting classes at my studio at a young age and now have had the joy of teaching my own. I strive to push my kids and teach them how to dance from the heart. I hope to inspire my younger students while being there for them as they develop their own unique styles and grow into beautiful dancers.
