Inclement Weather
If there is inclement weather, please check the homepage of our website for class cancellations. Everyone will also be notified via email if classes are cancelled.
Communication
Invoices and quarterly newsletters will be sent via email. Also check the bulletin board every day you walk into the studio for important new information. As communication is two-ways, feel free to call or email the studio if you would like an update on how your child is progressing in class or if any area of concern arises.
Drop Off, Pick Up, and Tardiness
Dancers ages 3-7 need to be escorted into and out of the building by a parent or guardian. All dancers are expected to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before class, fully prepared. Dancers late to class should first apologize to their teacher then warm-up on their own before joining the class. After class, dancers are encouraged to wait inside the building for their ride. Parents, please pick up your dancer on time.
Attendance
Attendance will be taken at every class and monitored during the year. Having good attendance is essential to the class' and the individual dancer’s improvement and progress. If your child will be absent for any reason, please notify IDC via email or phone before class.
Withdrawing From Classes
Our classes require a 9-month commitment (August 26th thru the recital in early June). If you choose to withdraw from classes, you must do so in writing via a Student Withdrawal Form at the front desk; we will not accept withdrawal notifications via email nor phone call. If you withdraw after October 15th, you will be charged a withdrawal fee equivalent to one-month’s tuition on the date of your withdrawal.

If you have any minor injury or anything to inform the teacher about, notify the teacher before class begins. Always applaud and thank your teacher at the end of class.
