*2023-2024 Teams*

We are looking for positive, kind dancers who want to grow their passion for dance as a TEAM!

Competitive Company
  • We have already held auditions for our 2023-2024 Competitive Company. Thank you to all who auditioned!
  • Here's some general info:
    • The Junior Company is for dancers placed in Jazz 2 (~ages 9-11), and the Teen Company & the Senior Company are for dancers placed in Jazz 4.
    • Competitive Company dancers are at IDC ~3 evenings per week as well as a couple weekends each month. Their required classes are ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical/contemporary, & conditioning & technique (~4.25-4.5 hours/week) in addition to their rehearsals (~1.75-3.25 hours/week).
    • Competitive Company dancers are in 3-6 group routines and can also do solo/duo/trios.
    • In the spring, we do a showcase, 3 competitions, and dancers can choose to do 1 or 2 conventions. We do nationals every 3 years - the 2023-2024 season is not a nationals year.
    • We have several fundraising opportunities and team bonding activities throughout the year.
Shooting Stars
  • We have already formed our 2023-2024 Shooting Stars.
  • Here's some general info:
    • This is an invite-only program for young dancers (2nd-3rd graders) who want to expand their dance education and are excited to have more opportunities to perform. We have already sent out invitations for the 2023-2024 season.

Performing on a team allows dancers to work closely with our faculty, create friendships and memories that last, build self-esteem and confidence, and reach their fullest potential!

Let us know if you have any questions or would like some guidance in determining which team is best for your child.
