We are looking for positive, kind dancers who want to grow their passion for dance as a TEAM!

Competitive Company​​​
  • Eligibility: Dancers placed in Jazz 2, 3, 4, or 5 & Audition on Friday, August 5th
  • Director: Miss Michele
  • Forms Due: August 1st

  • Here's some general info:
    • The Mini Company is for dancers placed in Jazz 2 (~ages 8-10), Junior Company for dancers placed in Jazz 3, Teen Company for dancers placed in Jazz 4, and Senior Company for dancers placed in Jazz 5.
    • Competitive Company dancers are at IDC ~3 evenings per week as well as some Saturdays. Their required classes are ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical/contemporary, & conditioning & technique (~3.5-4.5 hours/week) in addition to their rehearsals (~1.5-3 hours/week).
    • Competitive Company dancers are in 3-6 group routines and can also do solo/duo/trios.
    • In the spring, we do a showcase, 3 competitions, and dancers can choose to do 1 or 2 conventions. We do nationals every 3 years - the 2022-2023 season is not a nationals year.
    • We have several fundraising opportunities and team bonding activities throughout the year.
Shooting Stars​​
  • Eligibility: Invite-only program for young dancers
  • Director: Miss Michele
  • Forms Due: August 27th

  • Here's some general info:
    • This is an invite-only program for young dancers (2nd-3rd graders) who want to expand their dance education and are excited to have more opportunities to perform. We have already sent out invitations for the 2022-2023 season.

Performing on a team allows dancers to work closely with our faculty, create friendships and memories that last, build self-esteem and confidence, and reach their fullest potential!
